You've spent enough energy explaining yourself.

Unleash Your Authentic Self

Pup Therapist is kink-affirming therapy for the pup community — a space where you don't have to define headspace, moshpits, or why the tail matters before we get to the actual work. Show up as you are. Let's do the work that gets you somewhere real.

Fifteen minutes, no pressure, no glossary required.

Where we start

What we can work on together

  • Exploring pup identity, from curious to collared
  • Shame, fear, and what you've internalized about kink
  • Coming out about kink to partners, friends, and chosen family
  • Pack dynamics, community, and belonging
  • Everything else life brings — work, relationships, grief, anxiety

Who you'd be working with

Why a therapist who's actually in it

I'm Alex Conway, LMHC — also known in this community as Pup Disco 🪩. I'm not visiting from outside; I've been part of pup space for years, so session one starts at your life, not your glossary.

Clinically, the work draws on positive psychology — what actually makes a life worth living — and EMDR for the heavier stuff: the experiences that never quite got filed away, the ones your body still reacts to even after your mind's moved on. I'm EMDR-trained through an EMDRIA-approved program.

No anthropology-field-trip energy, no translation layer — just a clinician who happens to already speak the language.

A clinician who's in the community, not observing it

Alex speaks on the psychology of pup play, kink-affirming care, and queer joy at conferences, universities, and clinical trainings. If you're organizing something and want a clinician who's actually in the community — not observing it — that's the booking page.
